By accessing and using Task-it ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

Task-it is a productivity application that allows users to create, manage, and track tasks individually or in teams. The service includes gamification features such as points, levels, achievements, and progress tracking.

3. User Accounts

To use Task-it, you must:

• Create an account with accurate information
• Be at least 13 years old (or have parental consent)
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be responsible for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
• Transmit any harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create in Task-it (tasks, descriptions, comments). By using the service, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.

You are responsible for:

• Obtaining necessary permissions for any shared content
• Backing up important information

6. Team Features

When using team collaboration features:

• Team administrators have control over team settings and members
• Team members can view and interact with shared team content
• You are responsible for managing team access appropriately
• Removing team members may affect their access to shared content

8. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but we cannot guarantee:

• Permanent availability of any particular feature

Task-it and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

You may also terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the app settings.

Task-it is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any claims, actions, or demands, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the app. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
